We Are 250 & We Are One.™
"We Are One" was an early American motto adopted by Benjamin Franklin and seen on currency, coinage, flags and documents. It's a sentiment the United States has been working for and towards for 250 years and it's a mission and a mantra all Americans from then until now can adopt and pursue. It can be interpreted in many ways but at the same mean has a definition we can all get behind.
2026 marks 250 years of the United States becoming an independent nation. History can bring US together and we need that now just like we did in 1776 and beyond. The founding fathers and mothers and explorers and builders and makers knew this too. Hopefully American history itself can be a barometer for how we can grow together and leave a lasting mark that the generation in another 250 years can look back proudly on.
Throughout the year American Objects will be releasing custom illustrations, limited merchandise in partnership with American manufacturers, and important historic objects with direct ties to the country's founding and development. The workshop and studio are in a house built in 1776 and American Objects' home state, New. Hampshire, also gained its statehood in 1776. 2026 is a big year here at American Objects and Baldwin.us!
